Parent Talk provides free and confidential online chat support for parents and carers in the UK. We offer a welcoming and inclusive space for all, whatever your family arrangement. Our experienced parenting coaches will listen to your worries and work with you to find solutions. If appropriate, they may suggest ideas for where to get extra support.

Our service is accredited by Helpline Standards, a nationally recognised quality standard. We can’t offer legal or medical advice.

The Parent Talk chat is confidential. We won’t tell anyone else what you’ve told us without your consent, unless we’re worried about your safety or the safety of someone else.

If you need to talk to us in another language

The 1:1 online chat is available in Welsh with Elinor, our Welsh-speaking parenting coach. / Mae’r sgwrs 1:1 ar gael yn Gymraeg, gyda Elinor ein Hyfforddwr Magu Plant sy’n siarad Cymraeg.

If you speak another language, we can talk to you on the phone using Language Line translation service. Please start a chat or leave a message with your phone number and the language you want to speak. We will call you within 3 working days.
